Honestly, this has got to be the best tremolo ever (although I'm yet to try the Empress), but this is just such a massive upgrade from the V2 like you wouldn't believe. I'm posting purely to rave.

I especially love the tap tempo out (using my TAW to control my DD20), and the improved accuracy. One thing I really liked about this pedal on buying it was the added rate knob, because it was always so hard to get an accurate tempo with the V2 I had, especially for recording (V2 was tap time only). I thought, 'well at least with a rate knob I can set it exactly where I want it'. But the tap tempo seems so much more accurate on this one you barely need it. I was just recording a demo and tapped in some trem and haven't moved that track at all, got it first time. This may sound basic, but I've found that really hard to do accurately with my two previous tap trems.

Anyway, most of you know the hassle I went through to get this, and I gotta say, it was worth it. If anybody's looking for the ultimate tremolo pedal, I reckon this is it. Definitely my current favourite pedal. Looks pretty too. (Thanks Ocelot).

[/rave].

You've got me interested. I don't know too much about tremelos but this seems like the one to get. Does it do like a really choppy effect?

Mind listing the other tremolos you have tried so people can compare.

He tried the V2 TA, obviously, and the Worm. There was one more, I think.

Not the worm, just Boss TR2, Seymour Duncan Shape Shifter, TAW V2, and Dunlop.

Yeah, sometimes I copy and paste the posts if I want to say the same thing on both. Wink

Tremolo can be cool, I use it quite a bit, just in certain places.

Sunday mornings I need to be at church by 7:30, yesterday was our big 7th anniversary, so I needed to be there by 7:20. That was so I could stand around for an hour while the setup team finished set up. Laughing Things didn't quite go according to plan.

i don't think anyone of us here uses a goatkeeper.. it's supa expensive!

but if you want total control of your tremolo and all the unnecessary features which you will only use once in a blue moon, the goatkeeper is the way to go Laughing
