Hey guys...
I recently got a Jeckyll & Hyde, with a great deal on the dutch ebay... Its the older version, and the pedal is grey... Is it a special edition or what?
Anyway, On my pedalboard, i've got a MI Audio Crunchbox too. Never really 'loved' the sound, but it was good enough for a distortion pedal... Guess i dont really like distortion, and like Overdrive better...
I personally think that a T-rex Mudhoney (which is great) is a pedal that i'm not going to ditch. I use it as a low OD setting far a little edge on my sound...
But as a second pedal, should i keep the J&H or the crunchbox... I think the J&H has a little more options, because i can use the OD channel as my heavy OD + i have the distortion channel for heavy rock sound, which need even more dirt...
On the other hand... The crunchbox is pretty nice too, and value wise worth more, if you split the J&H in 2 because of the 2 pedal-in-one thing...
What should i sell?
Thanks! |

I'd defintily keep you JH and sell the Crunch Box. I had the CB for literally 1 day and sold it. The silver JH is the earliest version of that pedal. Some say it sounds the best out of all of them, though a crowd won't hear the difference. Plus, it has an overdrive side and a distortion side. It's not my fav pedal, but it's far better and more versatile than the CB. |

I won't vote, I only know the K&H, but anyway ;)! |

@ jaap:
I wont keep both... I think keeping 4 drives is too much...
1 Low gain OD: T-Rex mudhoney
2 Higher Gain OD: Visual sound jekyll side
3 High gain distortion: Visual sound hide side
4 High Gain distortion: MI Audio Chrunchbox
I tend to keep the J&H and sell the CB, but i'm not sure... I like the fact of 2 channels on the J&H, but i'm not sure if the CB will give me more cash... |

over here I sold my Crunch Box for $90 within 1 day. It's a popular pedal, but not really in the Christian guitar realm. Alot of hard rock players like it.... |

I personally love having three drives and I feel like it's not enough...
I'm gona buy a sparkle drive and exchange some drives... but I really love having multiple tones without messing with the knobs during worship... |

Yes...they all do. The only difference in the V2 is the hideous new enclosure along with new sturdier switches and a noise reduction circuit for running both sides simultaneously. |
